We first heard from Aaron Lawrence when he contacted us to ask permission to use one of our images in a book. We agreed but wanted a copy of the book as soon as it was ready. When it arrived, we found far more than a practical checklist. The Cumdump Compendium is detailed, analytical and very personal, built from Aaron’s experiences and his determination to understand not only what happened during his events, but why.
We publish community experience reports because useful sexual knowledge does not come only from product descriptions or formal education. It also comes from the members of our community willing to describe what they do, where they made mistakes and how their understanding changed. Aaron brings that same openness to this interview as he speaks about aging, the need to feel desired, rebuilding confidence as a daddy, his relationship with poppers and the local network that has formed around his events.
“The Cumdump Compendium”
by Aaron Lawrence.
From twink to daddy: rebuilding sexual confidence
Poppers-Now: For readers meeting you for the first time, how would you introduce Aaron today?
Aaron: I’d explain that Aaron Lawrence is my “nom de porn” for areas of my life I’d rather my mother learn nothing about. These include my former career as a sex worker (escort and amateur porn actor/producer) but also include my current pastimes of writing and “no loads refused” cumdumping. I’d point out that Aaron is graduate educated, which isn’t necessarily what people expect from a former sex worker, and enjoys bringing an academic focus to his sexual endeavors.
PN: Your life has included escorting, adult performance, writing, marriage, and now hosting cumdumping events. What connects those different chapters for you?
A: They all revolve around being desired. I’ve had mood swings since I was a teenager; I was ultimately diagnosed with bipolar II disorder about ten years ago. For me, promiscuity, or more specifically, being desired by many, has functioned as a form of self-medication that can pull me out of depression. I primarily control my bipolar disorder with medication now, but the need to be desired hasn’t slowed.
PN: You describe yourself today as a daddy rather than the twink you once were. How has growing older changed your sexuality and confidence?
A: The loss of my twink looks shattered my self-confidence. My life and career revolved around looking young. I filled the gap with other aspects of life, becoming a father, taking up hobbies, and immersing myself in work. Those things helped for a time but didn’t fill the void.
As I entered my fifties, I was unhappily reconciled with the idea that I’d have to live with being undesirable while suffering the mood issues that go along with it. Like so many gay men, I was not aging well at all. The lack of feeling desired gnawed at me.
Eventually, I decided it was time for a new approach. I grew a beard, began taking DoxyPEP and PrEP, and regularly bottomed at The Bear Party in New York City. It was an instant boost to my self-esteem. In time, I understood that what I had lost in youthful appearance had been replaced by experience, wisdom, and eventually confidence. I felt whole again.
On writing the guide, he could not find
PN: You mention fantasizing about becoming a cumdump for years before finally trying. What held you back, and what eventually made you act on the fantasy?
A: Lots of bottoms, me included, have fantasized about being gangbanged. It’s easy in fantasy, much harder. For years, I was way too scared to attempt it myself, so I stuck to The Bear Party. I enjoyed attending, but eventually I decided the attention was too diffused for my taste. I wanted more of it. All of it. I knew I could do better than four loads from six or eight tops. I began wondering if cumdumping was for me.
I scoured the Internet for every scrap of information I could find on hosting cumdump events. The idea frightened and excited me. I knew nobody was going to organize an event for me, so I’d have to do it myself. And if I was going to do that, I wanted to do it right.
PN: When did you first realize that your experiences, observations and notes could become a proper guide? What information did you feel was missing from the existing conversations about cumdumping?
A: Right from the start, I received online messages from people saying they looked up to me. I remember after my first event someone wrote to say that I was now their spirit animal, and they wanted to be just like me. I was flattered but surprised. From my perspective, I barely knew what I was doing.
I’m a big fan of AI. I began having long, detailed conversations with ChatGPT about my steadily increasing number of cumdump events. To my surprise, it kept asking for more details. I began giving detailed reports of my cumdumps: when people arrived, how people in the room behaved, what went right, what went wrong, and how I felt and reacted to it all.
ChatGPT began interpreting my events as a system and developing theoretical models to explain how and why they functioned. That was when I realized I was onto something. I wasn’t sure anyone had ever done what I was doing. Not just learning by doing and teaching others but creating actual theoretical models to explain how events work.
I realized I had something to share. It needed more development and data and still does. But I had something truly valuable.
PN: Who did you imagine reading the Compendium while you were writing it?
A: Wannabe cumdumps who are getting up the nerve to host an event. Beginner cumdumps who want to find out if they’re hosting them “right” or not. Intermediate cumdumps who have developed a working system but are looking for tips or ideas they might have missed. And tops who enjoy fucking cumdumps, who’d like to learn about the other side of the equation.
PN: Was the guide primarily something you wanted to create for other people, or did writing it also help you understand your own experiences?
A: I like to talk, and I like to teach. I’d have happily explored the subject with ChatGPT for months and years on end. But the drive to share what I’m learning would have driven my husband and friends insane.
Writing the book has forced me to refine my views on cumdumping. And in doing so, it’s made me a better cumdump.
PN: What made you decide to share the Compendium with our team? When you sent it, what kind of response or connection were you hoping it might create?
A: I wanted The Cumdump Compendium to look like a professionally published work, or at least as close as I could get it. Part of that was finding pictures suitable for display in the book. I didn’t want to fill the book with X-rated pictures of dripping holes. While I very much appreciate them personally, they didn’t fit the tone of the book.
I contacted you to ask permission to use a picture of multiple bottles of poppers from your site. I expected either to be turned down or not to receive a response at all. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised when my request was met with curiosity and interest in the project. You asked for a finished copy of the book when it was done. I sent it over, and here we are.
Poppers as pleasure and choice
PN: When did poppers first become part of your sex life, and how has your relationship with them changed over time? Do you remember your first time doing poppers?
A: I am quite conservative on drugs, so I was wary about trying poppers for many years after becoming sexually active. I didn’t understand what they were and thought they were just another recreational drug, and potentially a dangerous one. A dom finally convinced me to try them and… wow! What a rush. Literally! My hole opened right up, and he fucked me repeatedly while my head spun and I moaned in ecstasy. I had no idea they could feel so good.
Since then, I’ve been trying to recreate that feeling of uninhibited ecstasy. It’s never been quite as intense, and I doubt it ever will. But if I time them right it gets me almost as close. I can take them or leave them during sex, but when in the right mood they accentuate the experience nicely.
Lately I’ve been experimenting with poppers on the rare occasions I top. A very different experience and one I’m keen to enjoy more.
PN: What role do they play for you during an event and is their role different during a one-to-one encounter?
A: I’m mindful of the fact that not all guys are comfortable being around poppers. So, I try to mirror what my partner(s) prefer. I offer them and if they accept, I know it’s license to do if I want. If they decline, I usually forgo them as well. The exception is a partner who is extremely well hung. Poppers open me up and make the experience more comfortable.
In groups there is probably someone who enjoys poppers, so I don’t worry about my partners’ comfort levels as much.
PN: Your guide treats poppers as optional and acknowledges that different visitors have different preferences. How do you manage that in a shared sexual space?
A: At my cumdumps I always have a few bottles of poppers available. People can use or ignore them as they wish. About half the people opt either way, but no one has ever expressed discomfort that others are using them.
When multiple tops are present at a cumdump, I sometimes forgo poppers depending on the dynamic of the room as more players means more management responsibilities. It’s far easier to “let oneself go” with a single partner than when being gangbanged in a room with six tops and no dedicated host.
If anyone has tried poppers for the first time at my events, I’m unaware of it. I’m fine with that. Cumdumps should be a safe, supportive space for tops to engage in communal breeding, and should not have an atmosphere of peer pressure. Players can explore poppers or can forgo them. There is no correct choice so long as any use of poppers is done safely.
PN: What do people misunderstand about the place of poppers in an event like yours?
A: Basic educational issues. That poppers generally aren’t associated with physical dependence. How poppers affect the body. That they can interact dangerously with medications such as Viagra or Cialis.
One or two of the tops at my events have privately told me that they disapprove of the use of poppers. I never judge them for doing so, but when appropriate, provide some education as to what poppers are and what they are not. Often that helps relieve their concerns a bit.
The most common belief, I’m unsure if it is a misunderstanding or not, is that poppers “always” give the individual a headache. Perhaps some tops have a brain chemistry that doesn’t mix well with poppers. It’s fine if they pass for that reason, but I sometimes wonder what would happen if they explored different nitrite formulations. I never pressure them; the choice is always theirs.
PN: You mention Kinky Monster Ultra Strong as your personal favorite. What makes it your favorite?
A: I’m slowly exploring the various strength 6 out of 6 (and occasionally 5 out of 6) options on your website. Kinky Monster was my first, which may partially explain why I enjoy it so much. It has a pleasant, fruity scent that I like. It gradually builds up, giving it a smooth, non-rushed effect, then holds a peak until gently levels down. I like exploring different products; you need different experiences to appreciate a favorite, but I find myself coming back to Kinky Monster Ultra Strong.
I’m out of Kinky Monster now, so I’ve been using Black Fire Ultra Strong. I haven’t had enough experience to give a definitive report on how it feels, but I’m liking what I’ve felt so far.
AARON’S FAVOURITE
Aaron currently returns most often to Kinky Monster Ultra Strong. He describes it as having a fruity scent, a gradual build and a smooth effect that gently tapers off.
“Strangers create attendance. Regulars create community.”
PN: When did you first feel or realize that change happening around your events?
A: I realized this immediately when I began hosting cumdumps and observed how small groups (4-6 tops) would interact. At times everyone would remain physically distant and create an atmosphere of wariness and cautious engagement. Other times everyone warmed up to each other and the room felt full of engagement and excitement.
I’ve given a lot of thought as to why the levels of inhibition and psychological comfort changed. I’m still pondering the matter, but one thing I’ve noticed is that regular visitors are more comfortable engaging and are less likely to hesitate. And in doing so, they provide a model for how other players can engage. In psychology, this is called social proof. People are more likely to follow the lead of those around them. The more people that freely engage, the more relaxed and excited others will be as well.
Not to mention I’ve genuinely grown fond of many of my regulars. I may not always know them well personally, but I’m always glad to see them and have kind words to say.
PN: Can you remember the first visitor who stopped feeling like a stranger and began to feel like part of your community? What changes when a sexual connection develops into genuine friendship?
A: The first person was a silver-haired hottie whose name I can’t recall. He’s a bit older than me so in my mind I call him “Daddy”. Daddy came to my first event. Late in the evening, we spent over an hour cuddling, talking, and making out. It bonded us such that at every subsequent event when he’d walk through the door, I’d get a rush of excitement. We began talking online. Chatting about our days, my plans for future cumdumps, more about our respective histories, etc. It was the start of a friendship.
I’ve had this sort of experience with a handful of tops. For a few, it causes issues with our sexual relationship. I cease being a hot and desirable cumdump and become a regular person with flaws and foibles like anyone else. I’ve grown a little wary of becoming too close with the tops, knowing that it may spell the end of our sexual relationship and may transition to a friendship. I like friends as much as anyone else, but I have many. These days I’m more interested in insatiable tops.
As for “Daddy”, he broke it off with me. He began dating a guy thirty years his junior. He’s head over heels for him and has chosen to be monogamous. Perhaps someday he’ll be back at my events. Until that time, I wish him the best of happiness in his relationship.
PN: How do you make nervous or inexperienced visitors feel welcome without pressuring them to participate?
A: By giving them a clear set of rules and expectations at the event. As a culture and a society, we have social mores governing expected behavior in many situations. Say, dining in a restaurant. We have no such mores for cumdumping, except perhaps among the most sexually experienced men who have attended many group sex encounters. Even then, cumdumps are a relatively new trend and often differ from one another.
In my advertising and online conversations, I try to outline for the tops what appropriate behavior looks like. For example, taking some time to watch and get comfortable is fine, but attending solely to watch without participating is not. Similarly, tops are welcome to mutually engage in light play but aren’t allowed to make each other cum or start bottoming.
Beyond that, I’m told I’m far more welcoming and personable than most cumdumps. I don’t try to be an anonymous, face-down, ass-up cumdump. If they specifically want that, sure, great! But otherwise, I’m likely to greet them when they arrive, answer any questions they have, and encourage them to come participate. I may be a slut, but I try to be a friendly and welcoming one. It makes for a better experience for everyone.
PN: Your first event left you alone with emotions you did not yet understand. Has having a community changed how you process those experiences now? What has the community given you personally that you did not expect when you hosted your first event?
A: I have become online friends with several other cumdumps, but I wouldn’t describe us as having a community of any sort. I still feel quite isolated from others and have not found any central location where we can talk and reflect on our shared experience.
The community I’ve built is a local one consisting of myself, a few other local cumdumps, and a lot of the tops I play with. People are always joining and departing the community, but we talk and try to be there for each other within the boundaries of each person’s knowledge and comfort.
What the community has given me is a sense of pride and empowerment in being a slut. Being extremely promiscuous carries a certain amount of shame and social baggage with it, as much as I profess not to feel it. I don’t, for example, tell my family or straight friends about my cumdumping.
But with the men that come to see me, it’s a symbiotic relationship. I give them the opportunity to explore their sexuality in a nonthreatening environment. I make them feel attractive, sexually virile, and desired. In return they do the same for me, plus make me feel proud and empowered at being a “no loads refused” cumdump.
And on a final note
